GUPS pays Courtesy Call on the MINISTRY OF AVIATION.

The Ghana Union of Professional Students(GUPS) whose core mandate and prior vision is to bring all Professional schools in Ghana under one umbrella, and to nurture the potentials of its Constituents, yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Aviation.

Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah ,former Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency, and the Minister of Aviation, together with five (5) strong board of directors, humbly welcomed the incumbent executives under the leadership of Master Bismark Gyamfi and the newly elected executives led by Master Maxwell Dampare Sakyi as the President elect.

The rationale for this very courtesy call was to introduce the newly elected executives of GUPS to the Ministry for further collaborations and partnerships as far as students welfare and activism is concerned.

Hon. Cecilia Dapaah in her delivery advised the incumbent and the newly elected executives to be the very custodians of their land, because Ghana is all they have, and should wholeheartedly serve the nation.

"In your capacity as professionals, integrity should always be your hallmark" she added.

Several words of wisdom and encouragement were bestowed on the executives from various board of directors.

"Your professional integrity should be Paramount to you in all you do.
Also determination and perseverance will take you places" they were urged.

In addition, they were highly encouraged to be able to set up their own businesses as professionals even when the journey of academics fails.

The Executives of GUPS expressed their profound gratitude for such a warm hospitality and encouragement.
